AVON – A community barn dance is slated in Avon for the evening hours of Friday, Sept. 6.

The free event, which is open to the public, will be held at “The Barn in Old Paradise.”

“Which is actually in Avon,” admits Dale Major, one of the organizers of the barn dance event.

“The Barn in Old Paradise” is an event venue created by Kelli and Casey Snider. With one of the best views in Cache Valley and a location of truly historic significance, it’s newly built from authentic hundred-year-old plans unearthed by Casey Snider at the Utah State University archive.

The Sniders are donating the use of their building to this community event.

The dance will begin at 7 p.m. when the Wasatch Back band will perform.

The amigos of Wasatch Back are classic rock musicians that collectively have well over 100 years of performing experience and have entertained friendly crowds throughout northern Utah.

“The Barn in Old Paradise” is located at 10802 South Highway 165 in Avon.
