December 20, 1923 ~ April 27, 2023 (age 99)
Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Frankie Beckstead Heil, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, almost making it to 100 years. She was born on December 20, 1923, to Charles Francis Beckstead and Rose Adams Beckstead in Grace, Idaho, where she was raised. She spent most of her life in South Willard.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Frankie married Thomas Stark. Together they had two children: Stewart and Sandra. They later divorced. She then married Edmund F. Heil. Together they also had two children: Kevin and Keith. Edmund passed away in 1999. She then married James Frazier who also preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and worked side by side with her husband in the family business, Ed Heil’s Service in South Willard. She also worked at Chadwick’s Plants and Greenhouse. She always displayed a great work ethic.
Frankie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilt making, embroidery, gardening, and working in her yard. She also enjoyed family hunting and camping trips, and especially camping at Blackfoot Reservoir with her siblings and relatives.
She loved her grandchildren and always had cookies on hand to give them. She adored her family, she was a hard worker, and was always concerned about others.
Frankie grew up during the Great Depression which taught her to be frugal and make do with what she had.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Nurse Fyre of CNS Hospice; the staff at Maple Springs, especially Tiffany, Chelsey, and Cassidy; and her special friend from Willard, Karla Parsons.
Frankie is survived by her children: Sandra S. Lott (Glade—deceased), Kevin R. Heil (JoAnne), and Keith G. Heil (Tressa); 10 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren with 1 on the way.
