Diana Daniels Larson, born in Kaysville, Utah, passed away on April 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind her husband Todd Larson and children Kristian (Katelyn), Kiley, Cassie, and beloved grandson Nathan HALE . She is survived by her mother Lorna Daniels, brother Dallan (Lori) Daniels, sister Denise (Russell) Roll, and brother Doug (Julyn) Daniels, along with many in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other family members who love her dearly.

Diana was born on August 31, 1960, to Ried and Lorna Daniels. According to her mother it was the hottest summer on record. She was raised in Kaysville, UT, and graduated from Davis High School. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in the London, England South Mission. She worked as a legal secretary and enjoyed traveling with friends.

She married Todd Larson on June 12, 1993, and built a home together in Kaysville, Utah. Todd was thrilled to find someone who loved BYU sports as much as he did. They were so happy to welcome their three children to their family. All Diana ever wanted was to be a mom. Raising her children was her greatest joy and grandest adventure. She loved her neighbors, friends, and especially celebrating the fourth of July, Kaysville style.

They moved their family to Logan in 2006, where their family continued to grow and make new memories. She loved to volunteer in her kids’ elementary schools, and once they were in high school, she became their loudest cheerleader. One of their favorite family outings was to attend football, basketball, and volleyball games at BYU. One of her favorite trips was travelling back to England to visit family and see old mission areas. She loved showing and telling her family stories from her mission. As a family they made cherished memories and found joy in each other’s company.

Diana perfected her chocolate chip cookie recipe and always had plenty to share. She was famous for making Friday night pizza and welcomed all the hungry teenagers at her table. She enjoyed reading, running, vacuuming, and cleaning her bathroom while talking to Denise on the phone. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children as well as friends and extended family. Diana loved her Savior Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many organizations including Relief Society, Young Women’s, Sunday School, but perhaps her favorite place to serve was with the young children as the primary chorister. She never missed an opportunity to share her testimony with her children and others.

She was a warrior in her battle with recent health challenges and took us all by surprise when we found out just how sick she had been. She demonstrated grace, courage, and faith as she drew closer to her Savior during this trial. We are all heartbroken and are trying to follow her example of courage and faith as we move forward without her for a time.

We will celebrate her life with a visitation on Sunday April 10th from 6-8pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary on 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah.

The funeral will be held at noon on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the North Logan Green Canyon Stake Center at 1850 North 400 East with a visitation prior from 11-11:45am.

She will be interred at the Kaysville City Cemetery.

Diana was an avid fan of Winnie the Pooh and often added quotes in her children’s’ lunchboxes. A favorite was, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” We have all been blessed to know Diana.
