February 25, 1946 – June 19, 2022 (age 76)
Our amazing and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, David Wynn Jensen, 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on February 25, 1946 in Brigham City, Utah, to Wynn and Ruth Taylor Jensen. He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1964 and later graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors in Education.
David married his best friend, Holly Huggins, on October 16, 1976 in Elko, Nevada. David worked with his dad painting houses and later took over the family business, Jensen Painting. Prior to working in the painting business, he taught Elementary Education in Ogden, Utah. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing, hiking, and being with his grandkids. He taught us how to live and always put family first. Nothing was more important than going on a field trip with his grandchildren or spending time with his children.
Surviving are his wife, Holly; four children, Tyler (Stacy) Jensen; Taylor (Emily) Jensen; Kylee (Colby) Clark; Kortney (Ryker) Olsen; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and sister, Donna Kay Limb.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ross Jensen.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 am at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S, Brigham City.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, July 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again prior to the services on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 am.

Interment will follow the services at the Brigham City Cemetery.
