CACHE COUNTY – County officials are warning motorists to be aware of a road closure affecting traffic in the Wellsville area.
The Pubic Works Department of Cache County will be closing off access to 2400 West between 5700 South and Highway 101 beginning Monday, Aug. 26 through Thursday, Aug. 29.
County work crews will be performing road construction in that area from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, although local access to residences and businesses will be maintained throughout the construction period.
Northbound through traffic on 2400 West will be detoured at 6600 South to follow 1800 West along the east side of Hyrum Dam. Southbound traffic that normally follows 2400 West will be detoured on 300 North through Hyrum.
County officials say that if travelers in that area are unsure of how the road closure will affect them, they can reach out to the Cache County Road Division at 435-755-1560.
