LOGAN — Motorists travelling between Logan and Mendon have another detour to plan ahead for during the next week. Construction crews closed a section of Mendon Road, 600 South, Sunday.
According to a press release, the Cache County Public Works Department is upgrading a damaged culvert at approximately 2300 West. They will then be repaving a section of the road.
The closure will be in effect each day between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. to all through traffic between 2000 and 3200 West.
Motorists will be detoured onto 2200 South to get around the construction each day.
Crews will be working on the culvert Sunday and Monday and then paving the road from Tuesday to Friday.
Access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
