
Carma Jean Ellis passed away on April 12, 2022, at St. Mark’s Hospital. She was born June 19, 1953, in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Gene Ladell and Verna Dean Taylor Ellis. Carma was raised in Brigham City, with the exception of living 2 years in South Dakota, she was a lifelong resident of Brigham City.
Carma was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings. She had many skills and worked a variety of jobs including doing Data Entry, with the IRS, as a telemarketer at Convergys, Chromalox, as a welder and Quality Control.
Carma was an avid pool player and a member of the Pool League. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping, and making jewelry. She loved spending time with her family in the “Great Outdoors”.
Carma was one of the kindest, nonjudgmental and easy-going person you would ever meet. No matter what the situation, she always strived to be positive. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. Her loving and generous soul is going to be dearly missed.
Carma is survived by her sons: Dustin (Penny) Dirks, Kevin Dirks and Ryan Schraeder (Tishelle Roholt), 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers: Craig (Tami) Ellis, Elden (Susan) Ellis, Brent Ellis and Brian (Tami) Ellis.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah.
Viewings will be held at Myers Mortuary on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
