A new Cache County Special Investigator has been hired. Shawn Marshall, a native of Logan, was introduced to the Cache County Council at Tuesday night’s meeting. Marshall told council members about his background in law enforcement.
“I retired after 21 years working as a police officer for Logan City,” Marshall said. “Eleven of those years I was a detective, six of them with Major Crimes. The last six years I have been working mainly with white collar crime.”
Marshall said he was planning to retire but this position came up and he is happy that the applied. He told the council he was happy he got hired for the job.
