Craig Buttars has made it official. He submitted a letter to the Cache County Republican Party stating his intent to resign from his seat on the Cache County Council effective January 5, 2015. That is when Buttars takes over his new responsibility as the recently-elected Cache County Executive.
In his letter Buttars told Party Chairman Danny Brownell it has been a wonderful opportunity to serve as a member of the council for six years.
“I’ve learned that we have a dedicated staff of elected and appointed department heads and employees,” Buttars said in his letter. Buttars said he is excited about serving the citizens as Cache County on a full-time basis.
